What is Solar PV?
PV is an abbreviation of Photovoltaic from the Greek word ‘photo’ meaning light and ‘voltaic’ meaning electricity, after the Italian physicist Volta.
A solar PV panel converts daylight directly in to electricity, even on the most cloudy of British days.
With the introduction of the feed in tariff in 2010 and energy costs continuing to rise, Solar PV was voted in the ‘Top 10’ investments by the Financial Times.
Here at iGen we understand that aesthetic quality must not be compromised and to this end we have just introduced the ‘All Black’ module.
