iGen installed a 361kWp system over 5 units at Segro Park, Rainham. Our system will generate 278,923kWh per year and will result in 131,175 Co2 emissions avoided. The development is targeting carbon neutrality and will incorporate a number of sustainability features aimed at enhancing employee wellbeing and which will help it achieve WELL ‘Core’ accreditation.
BEIS – The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy has now launched a £1 billion Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme. The new scheme provides grant funding for heat decarbonisation as well as energy efficiency measures across the public sector, central government departments and non-departmental public bodies.
iGen are installing 9 solar power systems at Kingsditch retail park in Cheltenham. The systems total 110 kWp and will generate 85,407 kWh per year. The new development is located 2 miles from the west of Cheltenham Town Centre and the new businesses will benefit from reduced energy costs and improved BREEAM ratings.
